Tea House by the Lake
Foreground centre-right a traditional Japanese tea house (chashitsu) in dark wood with brunito thatched roof and closed white shoji, on stilts above water, connected to shore by a small arched wooden bridge. Inside the tea house two glimpsed kimono figures seated by a small brazier. In front of the house a small garden with three stylised rocks, Stone Lantern, cluster of pink-fuchsia stylised azaleas. Calm pale-azure lake reflecting mirror-faithful the house, distant Mt Fuji background.
