Poppies in the Storm
A vast field of bright scarlet poppies bending in the wind under a turbulent stormy sky, golden wheat stalks woven among them, a single shaft of golden sunlight breaking through cobalt and slate-grey clouds to light the field. A small farmhouse and a lone cypress mark the distant horizon.
