Architecture of Light

Architecture of Light builds calm from structure. Avery overlaps flat rectangles and soft squares like panes of frosted glass in warm neutral tones — oatmeal, taupe, sand, pale grey-green — then anchors the whole with a single confident block of deep terracotta. The grid-influenced composition nods to the Bauhaus and to hard-edge abstraction, but the warmth of the palette and the translucent overlaps keep it human rather than austere. It has the quiet order of good architecture: proportion, balance, a single point of emphasis. Structured, warm and deeply serene, it brings a sense of considered space to a wall — abstraction as architecture, measured, elegant and quietly grounding.
